I did some research on activities/events which I could carry out in near community. The list is as follows:
- plant sale: I'll grow plants & bulbs at home in paper containers (cheaper this way) and sell them to local people in April and August
- bake sale: I love to bake but really bad with decorations so will just stick with cookies, donuts, and some other easy-to-bake sweets
- bowling night: get the event out through neighborhood association committee as a national night out activity
- get support from NA attendees
- send blog link to people on Facebook
- mail fundraising letters to Vietnamese people (friends, restaurants, etc.)
- boba tea
- inquire the people near where I currently live
Let's cross fingers and see how these activities will lead. Some of these flyers were done last year but didn't have a chance to accomplish.
